The assignments are for ships, offshore rigs and installations and related onshore industry. Captain, chief engineer, deckhand, crane operator, medic and DP operator are common positions for the Maroff crew.

"In our business, a database with a large number of potential crew members is essential. Vacant positions are advertised on our own webpages and on popular Internet recruitment sites. We make it easy to register skills and preferences by moving CVs from other similar databases,” says Johansen.
Maroff Crewing is a certified crew manning office (CMO) by DNV GL. As one of the very first in Norway, the company was MLC 2006 certified back in 2011.
In 2014, the company annual turnover reached NOK 64 million. The company has offices at Hareid and Bergen, both situated on the western coast of Norway.
