With close to 65,000 participants, ONS is the largest single event in Norway and the leading meeting place for anyone working with oil and energy. Innovate is the main theme for this year’s event, which takes place in Stavanger 27 – 30 August 2018.

”Based on this year’s ONS theme “Innovate”, we reflect on how the industry and our society can meet the energy future. Opportunities in technological advances, fundamental shifts in business models, and leadership in times of transformation will be highlighted,” says Leif Johan Sevland, President and CEO of the ONS Foundation.
Founded in 1974, ONS offers exhibition space of 20,000 square meters to more than 1 200 exhibiting companies, across nine exhibition halls. The ONS Conferences comprise 550 speakers on seven different conference arenas, including Technical Sessions where engineers discuss new technical solutions.
The event attracts both Norwegian and international companies of all sizes. The organizers expect participants from more than 100 nations. ”The Norwegian supply industry operates in a number of international markets, and there is a high demand for Norwegian expertise and technology. As part of the conference programme, we focus on the markets where activity is high and Norwegian services are in demand”, says Sevland.

Young people are the future game changers of the energy industry. ONS Young is a conference arena with a four-day program designed especially for young people. Sevland expects thousands of young participants to attend the event.
”The industry needs young, innovative people with new drive, fresh approach and a sharp, critical eye on established practices. ONS Young is an arena where young people can meet company representatives, learn about the industry, and expand their network”.
ONS is more than a conference and an exhibition – it’s also a festival. The ONS Festival offers three nights of wonderful culinary experiences, music and entertainment for you and your family. The festival is free and open to everyone – all three days!
